Finlog Homes - Log Cabins at their best

Preparations

SUGGESTIONS TO PREPARE FOR THE ERECTION OF OUR ‘FINLOG’ HOMES

There must be at least 6” concrete base the overall size of the unit.

The main chassis should be supported on the ends by concrete blocks or suitable timber.

  • No jack legs are provided

We can supply adjustable legs, if required, at extra cost.

It also requires support on the end of the cross members (outriggers) with either wood or other skirt, blockwood, brickwork or stone.

Remember to put in some air vents.

It is strongly felt that to satisfy your requirements a visit by one of our staff should be made in order to check that there is a satisfactory base and that there are no problems with access for delivery etc.
There would be a charge for this service - payable in advance of purchase.

Please understand that this is to ensure that the job can be carried out to everyone’s satisfaction
